Tension in Place Series

This series explores place through personal mapping, this work is an examination of my connection and accountability to this land. Stitching recovered birch bark together (bark that has been collected from fallen trees rather than from live ones) this series examines the tensions that can come with connecting to the land through the inherent tensions in the bark itself.
